Speed Show welcomes show partners Hall Bros Motorcycles
Straightliners would like to take this opportunity to welcome Hall Bros as show partners for the forthcoming Speed Show taking place at Elvington Airfield, Yorks Saturday February 28th to Sunday 1st March 2026.
The Speed Show is just that – it’s all about what’s fast and quick in all forms of motor sport disciplines but on the emphasis of drag racing, sprinting and land speed record machines.
Hall Bros is a long established, family-run business that encompasses Fuel Distribution, Contract Lifting, Plumbing & Heating and Motorcycle Accessories, Clothing, Parts & Gifts in North Yorkshire and the East Riding.
The motorbike destination is a new venture from a long established local business and sits alongside the company’s fuel distribution, heavy lifting and domestic heating arms. The motorcycle side of the business opened in May last year after deciding to turn a lifelong passion for motorbikes and motorsport into a place where people can meet and share these interests, just a few yards down the road from where Carnaby Raceway used to be.
The long term plan is to have a bigger shop and a full-on biker café opening in the spring, as well as a visitor experience telling the tales of motorbike racing on the Yorkshire coast and the wartime history of Carnaby Airfield itself. Hall Bros Motorcycles can be found on the Lancaster Road, Carnaby Industrial Estate, Bridlington YO15 3QY.
Last year Melbourne Raceway’s Graham Sykes took the Force of Nature steam powered rocket bike for an evening’s talk and discussion about the principles of this amazing project while raising money for Melbourne Raceway.

Now entering its 5th year, the Speed Show is expected to be bigger and better in the quality of fast fuelled exhibits on display, action in the live arena with the running of the world’s smallest 100 metre drag strip dash competition during both days of the show. There’s Monster Truck and Sidecar rides as well as a Jet Car fire up to warm us all up with a ‘flame and thunder’ show. It’s a family fun day out with plenty to look at, chat to the drivers and riders and have your photo taken in or against the favourite vehicle.

- On The Day Single Day Entry £10.00 – Children aged 16 and under get in free.
- Free Car Parking. Weekend Camping is available.
- Race entries can be found at https://straightliners.events/events/speed-show-2026/. Online entries close Wednesday 25th February 2026 but can be bought at the event on the day.
- Online spectator tickets close 26th February for camping and 27th February for day spectators.
