Results for Speed Week 2 at Elvington, Fri 19th and Sun 21st September 2025
Two days of 2RAT Records meeting, Saturday was washed out, saw 19 records established and 11 existing records broken.
In 2000cc car class Trevor Duckworth established records in the 3 distances topping out at 113.947mph at the 1.25mile.
Roland Martini ventured over from France with his 250cc sidecar outfit and broke his previous records at 1mile and 1.25mile at 121.760mph and 121.909mph, also establishing at 1/2mile with 112.720mph.
Paul Milbourn on his self built R1 Yamaha engined bike set a new record at the 1/2mile of 163.388mph.
Another French rider and regular at Runway 26 Philippe Le Peru ran the fastest single run pass on Friday and beat the 1.25 mile record for M-BF-1350. Newcomer Timothee Monot established records in P-BF-1000.
Jack Frost set new W2RAT records at 1/2 mile, 1mile and 1.25mile with 235.607mph, 268.241mph and 271.046mph on his Hayabusa and he also set 3 UKITA records on the Kawasaki ZZR1400.
James Devlin set a new record of 203.148mph at the 1/2mile.
Eric Frith in MPS – CG 1350 established records at all 3 distances with a 145.931mph at 1.25mile.
David Miller set a new record at 1/2mile with a 204.462mph.
Tony Colston was along on his ZZR1400 rather than his ZX12R and established records in P – AG – 1650 class just shy of 200mph with 196.034mph at 1.25mile.
There were a few just running in RWYB. Simon Naylor, 2nd time out, on his Turbo Hayabusa put a new personal best on his ticket of 211.367mph.
Pat Brookes just came up shy of 185mph on a 184.4mph with talk of a dyno session to hopefully improve.
Sam Hall managed to crack the 200mph barrier with a 203.725mph as did David Cleminson on 205.8mph.
Mark Weir came up short with 197.463mph.
There was a new personal best for Amy Wolstenholme who managed 177.539mph.
Dan Leather was keeping both wheels on the deck to manage 188.4mph on his turbo Hayabusa first time out.
Most impressive on Sunday was young Alfie Barraclough riding the Andy Bush built “THE WIZZ” AR80 Kawasaki on loan to Alfie. He soon got the hang of the little 2stroke geared bike taking on board all the advice given steadily building up to 91.312mph in the 500mtrs.
