Live Streaming at Melbourne Raceway
So we have live streaming at Melbourne!!!!
To continue promoting Melbourne Raceway and grassroots drag racing countrywide, Straightliners are proud to launch Melbourne Raceway’s exclusive YouTube channel – Melbourne Raceway – The Home of Straightliners.
The channel went live a few days ago courtesy of track announcer Jerry Cookson and will feature exclusive videos filmed by providers and media partner sbpromovids fronted by Stu Brooks.
Stu will also be providing a platform to provide live streaming of Melbourne’s events starting with next weekend’s Bracket Bonanza (Sept 5/6th), using a mix of remote multi cameras covering burnouts, start line, mid track, finish line and a location in the shutdown area. The live stream will also provide timing data feed via the tracks Portatree Timing System as well as live track side commentary provided by the commentary team of Paul Cumpstone, Shaun Wilson and, of course Jerry.
The stream will also be able to provide online advertising and the promotion of future Straightliners events.
It is also envisaged that Elvington Record attempts (Full Throttle Records & Wheelie Records) scheduled to run from 17-20th September will be live streamed as well. The first time that a livestream of a records and top speed event has been covered live in the UK!
